Our vision

As we all know bees play a huge role in the human story, so much so that our survival as a species depends on their survival. Whilst the average person has little influence over the use of pesticides that damage bee populations, there are other ways to help them.

Through our 'Bee Family Farm' scheme we want to give people the opportunity to adopt beehives and by doing so learn how to collaborate with bees and develop an understanding of the important role they play in nature. By creating a network of bees, beekeepers and adopters, we aim to achieve a system of mutual benefits that sustains them, ourselves and the environment.

Environment

Adopting a beehive is an ideal way to help grow the pollination capacity of nature and make some real positive impact. Play a key part in helping to reverse the decline of the honeybee and improve environmental biodiversity.

Economy

Honey bees are the most economically valuable pollinator worldwide. One in three bites of food we eat is dependent on honey bees for pollination. Beekeeping is more than ever a vital piece of our agricultural economy.

Technology

The importance of adopting modern technologies in favour of the bees and beekeeping. The use of technology helps beekeepers to better understand bees and make informed decisions and so helps save beehives, increase productivity and better manage honeybee business operations.
